Tō tūranga hou | Your new role
As the Commercial Site Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day site coordination for a main commercial project to start and will pick up on other projects as the work progresses, ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the New Zealand Building Code and consent requirements. You will oversee subcontractors, manage site logistics, maintain clear communication with internal teams and stakeholders, and proactively resolve issues that arise on site.

- Experience in Site Management in a commercial environment
- Strong, practical working knowledge of the NZ Building Code and consent-driven construction delivery
- Proven experience managing subcontractors
- Solid understanding of site logistics, sequencing, carpentry and quality control
- Ability to work across multiple projects, managing competing priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Relevant trade background or construction leadership experience is ideal
