Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Construction and Repair Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of concrete work, including drilling, epoxy injection, steel fixing, formwork, and concrete repairs. This position requires a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform concrete drilling and cutting operations using appropriate tools and equipment.
Apply epoxy injection techniques for concrete crack repair and reinforcement.
Install and fix steel reinforcement bars and mesh as per project specifications.
Build and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, ensuring proper alignment and support.
Carry out concrete repairs, including surface preparation, material application, and finishing.
Inspect and assess damaged concrete structures to determine the best repair method.
Operate construction equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying current with industry trends and best practices.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in concrete construction and repair work.
  • Knowledge of various concrete repair methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using concrete drilling and cutting tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with steel fixing, formwork construction, and concrete finishing techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications and blueprints accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
