This company is a non-for-profit organisation that works with the aviation specialist industry. Completing over 2,000 helicopter rescue missions and flights in 2023 alone, this organisation is essential for the Canterbury, West Coast and Nelson regions. Due to growth and development, this team is now looking for a CRM specialist to join them.
The role
This is a core role within the organisation, where you will be reporting to the Funding and Finance Manager, involved in CRM systems, financial and payroll systems, fundraising and administration support.
Lead in managing this companies’ respective CRM systems
Working with the fundraising team to fulfil requirements and run required reports to help support fundraising recording/approval of donor transactions, including processing of credit card donations and recurring gifts, and any associated donor follow-up.
Donor acknowledgement/stewardship processes and maintaining/updating donor records, data reporting and analysis
Supporting the fundraising and finance manager in the financial and payroll systems; creditor management, assisting with and supporting forecasting, bank account reconciliations, payroll, supporting annual financial audit processes
General administration duties; answering phones, handling customer queries, coordinating technical support, system back-ups and maintenance, support for and/or attendance at fundraising events, functions and activities, fleet management and adhoc duties.
What you need to succeed
5+ years’ experience in CRM, the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous
You will be systems focused, with proven experience in the use and management of customer-focused databases
Previous experience in accounting administration or knowledge of Xero software
Strong organisational, time management and administrative skills
Ability to work with tight deadlines, under pressure, and juggling responsibilities/projects
Excellent phone manner and communication skills, alongside the ability to build relationships and rapport
Interested in longevity and career development
Be a team player, collaborative, and willingness to support team members where required
