Your new company
This public sector organisation are responsible for supporting and providing services that impact many New Zealanders lives. They have invested heavily in their cybersecurity function and have a strong internal team that provide expertise to an array of projects. The organisation have the funding to be able to make significant enhancements to their cybersecurity function and as such are looking to continue to expand their team with the addition of a Security Architect to work towards uplifting the security posture of the organisation.
Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated security professional to be consultative and to establish and maintain the security architecture. Within this role you be responsible for engaging and collaborating with service delivery, security operations and fellow Architects to develop the architecture strategy, requirements and long term roadmaps to enhance the security awareness and posture. You will also be responsible for promoting a security by design approach and working with the security governance team to promote best security practices.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience of working as a Security Architect or as a Senior Security Engineer with strong design skills and the ability to work across a broad range of areas including but not limited to the below, will see you excel in this position.
