As a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer, you’ll play a hands‑on IT operations role in strengthening the organisation’s cyber resilience, getting real exposure to security improvements, disaster‑recovery testing, resilience checks and supporting day‑to‑day IT operations. It’s a great fit for someone who’s curious, enjoys solving problems and is ready to deepen their experience in cybersecurity strategy and operations. This is a 6–8 month fixed‑term contract, perfect for someone wanting to dip their toes into a well‑established enterprise organisation while enjoying the lifestyle perks of the Bay of Plenty. You’ll have the support, guidance and regular check‑ins you need to stretch your skills and step up with confidence.

- 4+ years’ experience in IT operations and an interest or growing capability in cybersecurity
- A hands‑on approach with things like networks, security tools, disaster recovery or vulnerability management
- The ability to organise your own workload and work confidently with regular leadership check‑ins
- A natural curiosity and a genuine interest in learning more about cyber, resilience and improving systems
