Tō tūranga hou | Your new role
This position is primarily focused on new business acquisition, where you will engage with small to medium-sized enterprises to understand their marketing objectives and present tailored digital advertising solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on strategies across paid media, search, and social. Working in close partnership with a dedicated client services team, you will be responsible for building long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities to grow your portfolio over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities through outbound activity, networking and client meetings
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Building a strong pipeline and consistently achieving revenue targets
- Developing a deep understanding of client needs and providing consultative, solution-led recommendations
- Collaborating with internal specialists to deliver high-quality campaigns and client outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and expand existing client accounts

You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in new business development or B2B sales
- A strong hunter mentality with the ability to generate and convert leads
- Experience in consultative or solution-based selling environments
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- High levels of motivation, resilience, and accountability
- Exposure to digital marketing or media sales is advantageous, but not essential
