Electrical Engineer - Water
Opportunity for an experienced Water Electrical Engineer
Specify, Design & Commission the Electrical Systems for all water and wastewater treatment projects. The role will work closely with wider design and commissioning staff to ensure risks relating to the electrical aspects of projects are managed effectively. Role can be based out of Auckland, Christchurch, Timaru.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 10 years Electrical Engineering experience
- 3+ years in the water/waste water industry
- Knowledge of Electrical Regulations, AS/NZS 3000:2007 and other related standards and regulations
- Experience with electrical drafting tools such as AutoCAD or EPlan
- Broad knowledge of PLC & Automation Systems
- Knowledge and experience with AC Drive Systems, specifically for pump applications
- NZ driver's licence
- Technical knowledge of equipment and their use in water and wastewater treatment, chemicals and their storage and handling
- Must be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
