Are you an exceptional EA with proven public sector experience looking for your next challenge?
We are working with a large central government department in Wellington CBD to find a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support a busy General Manager. This is a critical temporary assignment (approximately 3 to 4 months) with an immediate start, offering a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities include:

- Coordination of meetings, workshops, and events, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action points.
- Drafting, proofreading, and coordinating high-quality correspondence, reports, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing administrative systems and processes, including handling confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Collaborating effectively with other EAs and the wider team to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.
To hit the ground running in this fast-paced environment, you must bring:
- Significant EA experience supporting senior executives (e.g., GM, DCE level) in a large, complex organisation.

- Exceptional organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
