Your New Company: Join a dynamic and growing construction team in Wellington! Our client specialises in civil construction, carpentry, and infrastructure projects. They are currently seeking a skilled Hammer Hand to contribute to their ongoing success.

Your New Role As a Hammer Hand, your primary responsibility will be to assist with carpentry tasks, including framing, formwork, and finishing work. This role will be focused around finishings so relevant experience is a must.

Your duties will include:
  • Finishing Work: You'll be involved in tasks such as installing skirtings, architraves and trims.
  • Assisting Carpenters: Supporting the carpentry team with various building tasks.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Hammer Hand or in carpentry is essential.
  • Finishing Skills: Ability to perform finishing tasks with precision.
  • Team Player: A collaborative approach and willingness to work alongside other tradespeople.
  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety practices on-site.
