My client is a global organisation and a New Zealand leader in modern air conditioning, heat pump, HVA, refrigeration and chiller technology for over 45 years. With 6 sites across New Zealand and a head count of c. 70, they have a newly created opportunity for a commercially savvy HR Generalist to join them based from their head office in Auckland.
Your new role
This sole charge role will take ownership of all HR functions across New Zealand, working closely with the business to support the business to achieve its goals. Key responsibilities will include:
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced HR Generalist with a minimum of 3 years experience at an Advisory level and working knowledge of NZ employment legislation. You'll enjoy a varied role where you are working closely with the business across all areas of HR as a trusted Advisor. With a 'can-do" attitude, you'll have flexibility in your approach and will be comfortable in all aspects of the role including HR administration.
You'll bring energy and personality to this role along with resilience and the ability to get things done. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be a given as well as being able to build strong and trusted relationships across all levels of the business. With a passion for culture and engagement, you'll be a key driver in building a collaborative, productive and engaged workforce across the business.
Experience working in manufacturing or a similar blue collar environment would be highly beneficial.
