We are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join my client's public sector team in South Christchurch.
This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful financial outcomes that directly support community services and strategic planning. The initial term is three months, with strong potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support strategic decision-making through performance reporting
- Provide financial advice to operational teams and senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with public sector financial standards and policies
About You
- Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred
- Experience in the public sector is advantageous but not essential.
