Their Tauranga office is looking for a confident and passionate Management Accountant ready to make a meaningful impact.
The Role:
In this dynamic and hands-on role, you'll be responsible for delivering insightful financial reporting and driving informed decision-making across the business. You will take ownership of month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. Your ability to work with complex data using Power BI and your deep understanding of large-scale operations will allow you to influence strategic initiatives and support long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end month-end accounting processes including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Deliver accurate and timely management reports, including detailed P&L and Capex analysis
- Lead the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders
- Review operational and financial data to identify trends and business opportunities
- Extract and present key insights using tools such as Power BI and Excel
- Work cross-functionally to support capital projects and commercial planning
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policy frameworks

Skills & Experience:
- CA/CPA qualified
- Significant experience in management accounting within a large organisation
- Strong hands-on experience with month-end processes, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail and a results-oriented mindset
- Confident communicator who brings passion and purpose to their work
