Personal Assistant (6-Month FTC) Wellington - $76,000
We are partnering with a respected government department to recruit an experienced Personal Assistant for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Wellington. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a team of senior leaders at General Manager level, playing a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This role requires a highly organised, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide PA support to multiple General Managers
  • Extensive diary and inbox management, including scheduling and prioritisation
  • Coordination of domestic travel, accommodation, and itineraries
  • Preparation of agendas, board papers, and supporting documentation
  • Taking accurate meeting minutes and tracking follow-up actions
  • Managing correspondence and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing general administrative support across the wider team as required
  • Maintaining systems, records, and processes to ensure efficiency

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant role
  • Strong diary management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting senior leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with government systems
  • Full working rights in New Zealand are essential
