People & Culture Advisor - Fixed Term Contract

6-month FTC to deliver pragmatic HR advice in a collaborative, customer-focused team.

Our client is a well-known organisation within the financial services industry and they have a fixed-term opportunity within their high performing P&C team to cover a secondment.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

Within this role, you’ll play a key part in facilitating core HR processes, providing advice and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and strategic partners to ensure smooth service delivery across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver timely and pragmatic HR advice across the employee lifecycle
  • Support performance management and routine ER case management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and outsourced partners to maintain compliant HR processes
  • Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR Advisor or similar role and ideally a t ertiary qualification in HR or related field
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and learning agility
  • Experience working with a larger, complex organisation, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

There is an immediate start available and this role does require someone able to commit to the 6-month fixed-term contract.
