Our client is an international consultancy practice with over 2000 employees in the UK, Europe, China, South East Asia, North America, India, Australia, and NZ, providing specialist cost, sustainability, project management, facilities management and technical advisory consultancy services to the property, construction, infrastructure, and resources sectors.

Your new role

You will support two directors as well as provide administrative support to a growing team of Quantity Surveyors. The ideal candidate will work both independently and closely with the directors to provide administrative support, office management, proposal preparation, marketing & events. You will be awesome with people, show initiative, thrive as a multitasker, and bring a positive can-do attitude. Key tasks:

  • Personal Assistant to two directors (commercial Quantity Surveying division)

  • Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and booking travel

  • Monthly invoicing and expenses

  • Assist with monitoring bid opportunities, collating and responding to bid submissions

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for public speaking events

  • Internal project support and digital file management

  • Supporting the team when needed

  • General maintenance and upkeep of the office, ensuring the office, kitchen, and meeting rooms are presented professionally

  • Liaising with the Marketing Lead regarding proposals, presentations, updates, and news

  • Event management for Auckland events, functions, and internal events

  • H&S representative for Auckland

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years experience as a PA/EA

  • Construction Industry experience is essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload

  • Collaborative team skills with the ability to foster and build relationships
