• Expertise in working with teams responsible for designing and delivering scalable analytics solutions using Power BI, Fabric and other modern BI platforms.
• Knowledge of the importance of dimensional and semantic data modelling, including warehousing in services like azure, or snowflake schemas, optimised for performance and usability.
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud-based data warehouses, including data ingestion, transformation, and optimisation.
• Ability to extract information, requirements and value needed from customers to support the build of intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports that drive business insights and decision-making.
• Can express in simplified terms the importance of integrating data from multiple sources using tools like Azure Data Factory, dbt, or native Snowflake pipelines to provide what the customer wants.
• Understanding of data governance principles, including role-based access, data lineage, and compliance within analytics environments.
