You will be working for a leading provider of integrated services in the country, with a history dating back over 100 years. This company offers a range of solutions for asset owners, infrastructure, and facilities, including design, construction, maintenance, digital engineering and sustainability.

Your new role

You'll be working as a Project Manager that will deliver a key project and will ideally be part of our client’s long-term strategy, specialising in civil construction. The role involves managing civil construction projects and maintaining and developing relationships. Your daily responsibilities will include design and engineering, condition assessment, and construction management, as you work on new projects that enhance our outdoor spaces.

What you'll need to succeed

• Project Manager or Project Engineer with 5+ years experience as the contractors representative looking for step up to Project Manager
• Would consider a fixed term contract for the length of the project, but prefer a longer term option
• Practical experience in civil construction preferably with some exposure to 3 waters
• Commercial knowledge and ability to articulate project requirements to client, designers, stakeholders, and staff
• Knowledge of appropriate New Zealand building codes and regulations
• Preference given to candidates with permanent residency status in New Zealand

What you'll get in return

You'll receive a competitive salary based between $120,000 - $140,000 NZD + vehicle and benefits relevant to your capabilities as well as a well known, highly reputable civil company environment that encourages career growth opportunities.
