A busy role with a main contractor with projects across the mid to lower South Island
Project Manager $100k-$130k + Vehicle + Phone and laptop


Your new company

This South Island based Civil Construction Contractor is a successful company who specialising in construction or upgrade of substations in the South Island. They are also involved with deep drainage and 3 waters projects so prior knowledge of these spaces is advantageous. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to compliment their established team.


Your new role

Your new role as Civil Project Manager will involve you dealing with day-to-day management of projects, including management of resources and materials. You will be involved with the pricing and management of the jobs, including claims and variations. You will have the ability to think on your feet and problem solve whilst holding the knowledge of civil contracts.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Relevant experience across civil works and infrastructure in New Zealand
  • Minimum 3 years New Zealand Industry experience
  • Experience in the set-up of sites and liaising with multiple subcontractors and material providers.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external staff.
  • Strong financial acumen is essential.

The successful candidate will be located or willing to re locate to Canterbury. Due to the nature of their projects, this company requires an element of away work in this role. Away work will fall between Monday and Friday and may be a day or two in a week.
