Our client operates a fully licensed managed fill facility in Huntly, delivering compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible disposal solutions across the North Island.
With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and environmental sustainability, the business partners closely with contractors, developers, environmental consultants, and regional councils to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes.

This is a newly created role is designed to drive sales growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand market presence for a fully licensed and consented managed fill facility. This is a highly relationship-driven, field-based role, with travel across the North Island with up to 70% within the immediate ‘golden triangle’.

  • Identify and secure new opportunities across construction, infrastructure, and environmental sectors
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and councils
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on compliant and sustainable fill solutions
  • Monitor industry trends, pricing, and competitor activity
  • Deliver commercially sound solutions aligned with client needs
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and compliance
  • Support project coordination and customer satisfaction
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed
    • Ideally based in Hamilton – also open to South Auckland
    • Proven experience in sales and account management, ideally within managed fill, civil construction, quarrying, or related industries
    • Strong understanding of aggregates, basecourse, drainage, and fill materials
    • Knowledge of civil applications (roading, drainage, earthworks)
    • Familiarity with NZ standards, council specifications, and compliance requirements
    • Established industry relationships (especially with consultants and councils)
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Strong organisational ability and the capacity to manage multiple opportunities
