Secretary / Office Administrator

Seeking a proactive candidate to join an amazing company as a secretary.

A boutique law firm specialising in trusts, estate administration and relationship property litigation amongst other things.

Your new role

To provide efficient, accurate and proactive secretarial support to the business, and to work as part of the team. Key tasks:

  • Providing secretarial support to two partners and their team, including word processing, opening and closing client files, correspondence, travel arrangements as delegated etc
  • Handling routine enquiries, dealing with requests for information, researching particular issues
  • Managing billing and debtors for the team
  • Assist with day to day IT related queries and support
  • Filing and general administration duties, including filing in the firm's document management system, photocopying, dispatching couriers etc
  • Attending training when required
  • Any other duties may be required from time to time

What you'll need to succeed

  • Good typing skills – high level of speed and accuracy

  • A good standard of English (written and verbal) and numerical ability

  • Substantial secretarial and clerical experience and knowledge of office administration

  • Demonstrated organisational ability and time management

  • High standard of work in both quality and output, including the ability to work to deadlines and use initiative\

  • Good word processing ability with experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
