Tō tūranga hou | Your new role
In this role, you’ll act as the organisations' subject-matter expert for facilities maintenance contracts, providing specialist advice and analytical oversight to ensure consistent, effective contract management across a complex national property portfolio. You’ll monitor supplier and contract performance against KPIs and service levels, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver insights that support better commercial decisions and value for money. Working closely with internal teams and external providers, you’ll help align operational delivery with contractual intent, support contract lifecycle activities such as renewals and variations, and strengthen governance, relationships, and overall contract performance across the organisation.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong experience in facilities maintenance contract management within a complex environment, supported by well-developed commercial acumen and knowledge of procurement processes. You will have the ability to interpret and manage KPIs, SLAs, and performance frameworks. You’ll have advanced analytical capability, using data and performance insights to drive decision-making, alongside proven skills in procurement, negotiation, and contract lifecycle management. Strong stakeholder engagement is critical, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively at senior levels. You’ll also demonstrate sound judgement, adaptability, and a collaborative approach, with the confidence to navigate complexity, mitigate risk, and contribute to continuous improvement across contract performance and service delivery.
