A respected Public Benefit Entity is seeking an experienced senior finance professional with strong systems capability to lead financial performance, strengthen data infrastructure, and support high‑quality governance.
About the Role
You will provide strategic financial leadership while enhancing the systems and tools that support organisational decision‑making. Your work will directly support the senior leadership and operational teams through accurate reporting, robust forecasting, and well‑designed data models.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver monthly Board reporting, including insightful analysis and clear commentary
Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models to improve data management and produce high‑quality dashboards
Lead EPM forecasting and planning, ensuring reliable, forward‑looking financial insights
Oversee year‑end processes, ensuring they are audit‑ready and fully compliant with Public Benefit Entity (PBE) reporting standards
About You
You bring a blend of financial expertise and systems capability, with the confidence to operate at a senior level and the curiosity to continuously improve how information flows through an organisation.
You will have:
Proven senior finance experience within New Zealand
Strong technical skills in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis
Hands‑on experience with Power BI, particularly semantic modelling
Familiarity with EPM tools and structured planning cycles
A deep understanding of PBE reporting requirements
A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
A relevant professional qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent)
