An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Media Planning Specialist to join a high‑growth, globally recognised consumer brands business based in Auckland.
This role sits within a best‑in‑class in‑house marketing team and will see you take ownership of media planning across a portfolio of well‑known brands, driving planning excellence, innovation, and measurable performance outcomes.

Reporting into a senior marketing leader, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving media planning strategy across multiple markets. You’ll work closely with internal media buying, data and analytics, and brand teams, as well as leading technology and media partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading media planning for assigned brands, ensuring strategies are insight‑led and aligned to commercial and brand objectives
- Developing deep audience understanding to support effective multi‑market campaign rollouts
- Partnering closely with media buying, data & analytics, and brand marketing teams to drive performance
- Applying a strong test‑and‑learn mindset, exploring new platforms, audience frameworks and content approaches
- Collaborating with media and technology partners to unlock new capabilities and improve measurement
- Supporting the evolution of reporting frameworks and ensuring insights are actionable and scalable
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to a collaborative, high‑performance team culture

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, media planning or a related role
- Hands‑on experience across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Meta and Google advertising products
- Strong strategic planning capability with a passion for high‑impact, consumer‑led brands
- Confidence working in a fast‑paced, reperformance’s environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisation and time management, with a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset
- A preference for working in an office‑based, collaborative environment
