Tō tūranga hou | Your new role
This is a 5-month contract for an experienced Project Manager, starting as soon as possible
You will play a key role in the early mobilisation and design phase of their programme, helping define how the organisation and the new entity will operate together.
Key areas of focus include:
Establishing service level agreements covering areas such as corporate services, property, and specialist operational support
Designing governance and engagement processes between a Statutory Officer, senior leadership, and wider stakeholders
Supporting the establishment of a new operational enforcement function
Developing and implementing processes and systems required for day one readiness
This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping how things will work in practice.
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Project Manager in complex or regulated environments
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at a senior level
Experience in operating model design, mobilisation, or early-stage programme delivery
Ability to bring structure and clarity in a developing environment
Public sector or large organisational experience will be an advantage
