We are recruiting on behalf of a national construction consultancy who operate across the building, construction, and property sectors. Offerings include construction cost management, project management and advisory services.

As senior QS, you will be responsible for managing contracts and project finances. Stakeholders include consultants, subbys, contractors and financiers and you will be the technical lead for more junior staff members whom will look to you for guidance, expertise and development.

Progression to associate, director and beyond including opportunity for vested interest through buy in potential are outlined through long term professional development plans.

Experience / Skills Required;

• Degree in quantity surveying
• PQS / consultancy experience 4 - 8 years
• Membership of RICS or NZIQS preferred but not prerequisite
• Pre-contract quantity surveying experience
• Preparation and review of full range of elemental cost plans including consideration of alternative designs / construction methods and finishes
• Preparation, review and presentation of conceptual feasibility studies based on limited initial design brief
• Contract Documentation: Measurement, description, editing, assembly and review of tender enquiry documents, inclusive of contract conditions
• Preparation of prequalification documentation, tender addendums and clarifications, post tender interviews and negotiations as well as subcontract tender adjudication
