The busiest Tier 1 Commercial Contractor in NZ is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their Wellington team. This is a key on-site leadership role for candidates who have either managed their own projects independently in the $5M–$10M range or worked under a Project Manager on large-scale commercial builds valued between $20M–$100M.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations and manage subcontractors/trades
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and consultants to align site activities with project goals
• Ensure all site work complies with NZ building codes and H&S standards
• Maintain and monitor project timelines and resource schedules
• Conduct quality assurance checks and uphold high workmanship standards

• 8+ years in the NZ commercial construction industry.
• Site Management experience on projects between $20m - $100m.
• Strong understanding of NZ construction practices, and health & safety legislation.
• Trade background or relevant tertiary construction qualification.
• Excellent communication, planning, and coordination abilities
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
