Your new role
You will work closely within a team of 4 providing technical support to security technicians both in New Zealand and Australia.
Your duties and responsibilities will look like:
- Answering incoming calls and providing technical support in a friendly manner
- Using your technical expertise for security products, including IP Networks, CCTV, DVRs, Cameras and Wi-Fi solutions Troubleshoot HW/SW and IP network issues
- Assist the sales team in supporting their customers
- Setup systems in-house to simulate and troubleshoot problems in-field
- Assist in the evaluation process for new security products
- Support tender bids and provide technical input for sale quotes
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a passion for customer service and helping others along with a knowledge of IT.
You will have skills and understanding in:
- Call centre experience
- A high level of customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An enthusiasm to learn and grow with the business
- A strong interest in new technology and development Relevant IT qualifications and knowledge
- Experience in dealing with security products involving IP technologies and electronic alarm systems (not essential to have)
