They are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to play a critical role in delivering high-quality digital and mobile solutions for international markets. This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of testing activities within agile scrum teams, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. You will bring a strong testing mindset, applying critical thinking and context-driven testing practices to identify risks early and safeguard product value. The role requires a balanced understanding of functional testing and test automation, knowing when and how automation best complements overall quality strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, communicate, and execute comprehensive testing scope aligned with project and business requirements.
  • Apply a wide range of testing techniques appropriate to the project context and technical environment.
  • Contribute to test planning, manage scope changes post-design, and support issue resolution throughout the SDLC.
  • Plan and execute integration testing with third-party systems.
  • Test major framework upgrades, modernisation initiatives, and mobile SDK implementations.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

  • 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile banking or a comparable regulated industry.
  • Strong technical testing capability, particularly in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler, Charles, or similar.
  • Proven experience testing native mobile applications, with a solid understanding of mobile-specific challenges and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute integration testing with third-party vendors and systems.
  • Experience testing cloud-based platforms, including cloud migration or infrastructure-related projects.

Duration - 12-month contract

Location - Auckland CBD (Must be able to work from office 5 days a week)
