This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with Python, building automated regression test suites, and ensuring data pipelines and products meet reliability, performance, and quality standards.

• Build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites for cloud and data engineering solutions.
• Develop high‑quality, well‑structured Python-based test scripts across multiple data products and pipelines.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Product teams to validate functionality, detect defects early, and ensure stable production releases.
• Contribute to testing strategies, frameworks, and reusable automation components.
• Analyse data outputs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance across data workflows.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience with Python for scripting, automation, or data engineering tasks.
• Proven background in Automated Regression Testing, ideally within data or cloud environments.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or cloud-based data platforms (Azure experience beneficial but not required).
• Understanding of testing methodologies, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices.
