Our client is a well-established structural engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across the Bay of Plenty and surrounding regions. With highly respected senior engineers their business has grown steadily and continues to thrive on the strength of their people and projects.

With continued workflow they are now looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join their close-knit team

This role offers variety and stability, with the opportunity to work closely alongside highly experienced engineers without getting lost in a large corporate environment. It’s a hands‑on position suited to someone confident working independently and keen to be involved across the full project lifecycle.

You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of projects, including residential work (from small upgrades through to high‑end homes), commercial developments, and industrial projects, with the chance to genuinely get stuck in and grow your technical capability.

You’ll also benefit from direct access to senior engineers for mentoring and idea‑sharing, all within a supportive and collaborative team environment where your contribution is valued.

  • 3–4+ years’ upwards of experience in a New Zealand structural engineering consulting
  • Confident and competent working independently
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
