Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising the organisation’s Microsoft-based infrastructure. This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects involving server management, automation, and identity services.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Managing and maintaining Windows Server environments
  • Scripting and automation using PowerShell
  • Administering and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Supporting infrastructure upgrades and patching
  • Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions

  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in a Microsoft environment
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Experience with Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and server security
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
