As a Technical Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for defining, leading, and delivering one or more technical products end‑to‑end. You’ll own the product vision and roadmap, manage the backlog, and guide delivery teams and vendors to ensure products are reliable, secure, and aligned with strategic outcomes.

This role blends strong technical understanding with stakeholder management, commercial oversight, and people leadership. You’ll monitor product performance through clear metrics, manage enhancements and sustainment, and act as the primary point of accountability for your products.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or in a similar product leadership role
  • Strong technical and digital capability, with the ability to provide direction to multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including backlog management and sprint ceremonies
  • Ability to define product vision, roadmaps, and priorities aligned to business objectives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Commercial experience, including working with vendors and contributing to procurement activity
  • Experience tracking and reporting on product performance (e.g. adoption, service performance, customer satisfaction)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to meet pre-employment and security vetting requirements if required
