Location: Wellington Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm Start: ASAP – medium term ongoing role
A busy construction support yard is looking for a reliable Yard / Workshop Person to join their Wellington team.
This role suits someone physically capable, switched on, and comfortable working around formwork, scaffolding, or general construction equipment.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for a mix of yard and workshop duties, including:
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Operating a forklift (ticket required – F endorsement not essential)
  • Cleaning, sorting, and maintaining equipment
  • General yard organisation and housekeeping
  • Supporting daily operations as needed
  • Following all H&S procedures
What We’re Looking For
  • Current forklift licence
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically fit and practical
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
  • Previous yard, workshop, or construction labour experience is an advantage.
