My candidate is a university educated chartered accounting with 11 years post qualified experience, and 12 years experience since finishing his master of commerce university qualification running his own CA business growing it from a one man band in 2011 to having 3 permanent members of staff and over 200 clients in 2023 when he sold the business. This outstanding growth which has been gradual and sustainable, demonstrating his ability to create and maintain commercial relationships.

My candidate arrived in NZ in 2023 with a plan to complete a masters in professional accountancy which he successfully did this year, and is now looking to secure a permanent position. He wishes to move back into the CA space and gain NZ experience. He understands he will have to step into the market at a step or two down from his last level of seniority which is something he is very comfortable with.
