I am working with an experienced payroll advisor who is available on a 4 weeks’ notice for their next payroll opportunity. This candidate has a solid background in payroll within the public sector.
Their key skills are:
• Processing end to end fortnightly pay run for 450 employees including permanent, causal and fixed term employees, and process contractors’ payments
• Set up new employees, terminations, timesheets, leave, ACC, deductions, and travel pay
• Processing all payroll related tasks including new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, parental leave requests, salary review, ACC leave management, payday filing and changes to deductions and payments
• Resolving payroll discrepancies
• Providing payroll related advice and information to managers and staff as required
• Holiday’s Act and Employee Relations Act
• Experience with MYOB, SAP & Xero
